a place of their own is the art + spatial research practice of Paula McCloskey and Sam Vardy. Through art and spatial practice, we interrogate and propose within entanglements of climate, capital, technology and politics. We operate as a collective, a couple, with our children, and through collaborations with others.

Wet / Land / Dwellers @ Foodhall Project, 11/03/22

Part of our Wet / Land / Dwellers project, a multi sensory evening of film, discussion and a live audio performance from Gary Stewart.

Live sound performance by Gary Stewart, with a screening of Myths for an Imaginary Wetland by artists a place of their own.

Screenings of INVASION by the Unist’ot’en Camp (Canada) and Our Land is Talking by West Australian Indigenous artist Rod Garlett

Each ticket holder will be given a copy of the project zine, Willow, designed and printed by Sheffield artist Ross Bennet.
